Job Description

The Account Manager for our Clinical Services Division primary role is to introduce Always Compassionate to the provider and referral pipeline community. The position will need to identify, develop and implement external stakeholder relationships to drive new business and reinforce existing relationships.

The ideal candidate will also educate and provide necessary information about the company and its portfolio of services it’s licensed to provide. The ideal candidate will work to establish partnerships to develop pipelines to aid our clinical division’s growth. The Account Manager will work with our internal departments, including recruitment, intake and coordination departments to ensure all tasks associated with the new business process are efficiently completed.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of NYS DOH Health Care operations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of external sales experience in generating new referral pipelines in the health care industry
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
  • Proven ability to establish referral pipelines, generate leads and monitor referrals and maintaining new and existing contacts
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to review and provide market differentiators to external stakeholders
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Home Care setting
  • Attention to detail with problem solving skills
  • Strong customer service background

Responsibilities:

  • Call on healthcare facilities, rehabilitation centers, Geriatricians, clinics, and eldercare facilities
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships/partnerships
  • Meet or exceed establish cases taken under care cases
  • Generate client referrals from professional referral sources
  • Seek, develop, and participate in marketing opportunities in the target communities
  • Ability to use time efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Technically savvy – proficient in use of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices
  • Exceptional communication skills demonstrated ability to communicate and follow-up in a timely manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required

The Account Manager is expected to maintain ethical conduct, compliance with state, federal and agency regulatory requirements, and will be responsible for quality and satisfaction of prospective patients and referral sources.
