Always Compassionate Home Care is seeking a Recruiter to work in our corporate office. We are seeking a candidate who has knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry. This role would be best filled by a person who is well versed in a full cycle recruitment, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring qualified employees for internal, administrative roles.

This role’s primary responsibility is to work closely with our Human Resources personal along with the Recruitment team to identify the necessary positions needing to be filled in all office location, working primarily out of the office in Melville.

This recruiter would be sourcing, screening, facilitate interviews with hiring managers and working with candidates throughout Always Compassionate on-boarding process. The ideal candidate will aide in identifying new avenues to assist with bringing in the qualified persons with a home care background to support our internal needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of recruiting experience preferable in a health care organization and clear understanding of homecare agencies.
  • Proficient in team management – explicitly with coaching, development, and influencing results.
  • Deep understanding of sourcing techniques and platforms.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office 365 including Excel.
  • Familiar with current technology – Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting software; UltiPro a plus.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple requisitions and projects simultaneously.
  • Professional communication and organization skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine and booster if applicable.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and job specifications based upon new and current business needs
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection processes
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, aptitudes, and skill sets
  • Onboard new hire for them to become fully integrated
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during recruitment cycle and at specific periods after hire.

Work Environment

  • A successful recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring.
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Ability to multitask and to prioritize your open roles – time management skills are essential.
