Director of HR

Job Description

We are seeking a Director of HR who will handle executing and overseeing all human resources including, but not limited to, recruiting, employee relations, training and development, compliance, recognition and retention, benefit administrations, and employee reviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, lead, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs
  • Responsible for handling all HR matters: employee records, certifications, etc.
  • Oversees the strategy and administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave programs, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, and training and development
  • Compile HR statistics reports on a periodic basis, analyzing for trends/themes which are leading to employee issues and developing action plans to address
  • Prepare employment letters for employees and office staff
  • Create, implement, and monitor employee review process and staff surveys
  • Translates the strategic and tactical business plans into strategic and operational plans
  • Evaluates and advise on the impact of long-range planning of new programs and strategies impacting the attraction, retention, mitigation of attrition, development, and staff retention
  • Develops progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to provide motivation, incentives, and rewards for effective performance and to provide programs that utilize an employee and company partnership for the employees’ short and long-range health and welfare protection
  • Continually assesses the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in Human Resources management with proven success in talent management, employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and compensation and benefits administration
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative skills to effectively manage relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in identifying needs, developing and executing action plans, and presenting outcomes and recommendations
  • Must have general knowledge of various employment laws and practices and employee relations best practices
  • Must be willing to travel to other locations, as needed
  • Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED; Master’s preferred
  • SHRM-certified REQUIRED

Compensation: $125,000 – 140,000
