Job Description

Recruiters are a key component to the success that Always Compassionate Home Care (ACHC) has. This role’s primary responsibility makes it possible to find the qualified health care workers whose duties in the field make it possible to fill current contracts ACHC has throughout the New York area.

This role will partner with the company’s leaders to enable business growth by adding recruits and identifying new avenues to assist in bringing in the sheer volume of healthcare professionals to support our staffing needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Field and office recruitment for Live in and Hourly HHA’s (home health aides) and PCA’s (personal care aides)
  • Attend job fairs and present employment opportunities to the general population
  • Attend and present at local Home Health Aide training schools
  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with NYS DOH regulations
  • Build and maintain relationships within the community to develop referral sources
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection processes
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during recruitment cycle and at specific periods after hire.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in team management – explicitly with coaching, development, and influencing results.
  • Deep understanding of sourcing techniques and platforms.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple requisitions and projects simultaneously.
  • Professional communication and organization skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine and booster

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous home care recruiting/marketing experience
  • Knowledge and proven record on relationships with referral sources such as training schools
  • 3-5 years of recruiting experience in a health care organization and clear understanding of clinical skilled healthcare workers
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish PREFERRED
