Lead RN Supervisor (Full-time)

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who will function as a lead RN Supervisor for a full-time, salaried position for our Personal Care and Private Pay Division.

The Lead RN Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all full-time and per diem field RN Supervisors in all Always Compassionate Home Care locations and for managing all patients receiving private pay aide services in their homes.

Salary: $100,000 – $110,000*

*Salary based upon experience

Responsibilities

  • Follows New York State Dept of Health regulations for Licensed Home Care Agencies
  • Hiring, orientation and supervision of full-time and per diem field supervisors
  • Field evaluation visits of field supervisors to ensure high quality care.
  • Timely completion of performance appraisals for assigned employees.
  • Oversight and review of private pay referrals.
  • Participate in pre-admission conference calls introducing the team providing care.
  • Completion of initial patient admission visits for private pay and other aide service population for assessment and development of appropriate caregiver care plan.
  • Supervision of paraprofessional personnel to ensure provision of high-quality services.
  • Care management of all private pay patients through engagement of patient and/or family in addressing patient care needs.
  • Oversight of private pay coordination of case to ensure appropriate personnel are assigned to meet patient needs.
  • Coordination as required with insurance company requests for patient status updates as required.
  • Periodic home visits for evaluation, re-evaluation of patient status, recertification, and revision of care plan to meet the needs of the patient.
  • Timely completion of required electronic health record documentation at the point of care.
  • Quality Assurance Activities to ensure compliance with Regulations.
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures.
  • Risk Management activities include incident and complaint investigation and resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Infection Control and Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Progressive Disciplinary and Termination of Employees as needed.
  • Identification of educational needs with utilization of training resources and/or development of training program as required.
  • Participate in Business Development Activities as needed.
