Responsibilities:

Always Compassionate Home Care is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to work with our coordination team. This team’s primary responsibility is to work directly with our caregivers to ensure they are providing our clients with the compassionate care our clients deserve. Coordinators focus on delivery of care through scheduling and continuous communication with our PCA/HHA Division.

*HOME CARE EXPERIENCE A MUST*

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of NYS DOH Health Care operations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a Home Care setting
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail with problem solving skills
  • Strong customer service background
  • Documentation of daily staff/call log

Requirements:

  • Staff personnel according to home care patient’s schedules and medications
  • Collaborate with recruitment department regarding hiring nurses from difficult to serve geographical areas
  • Documents and reports to Supervisor when there is a change in client status, change in service requirement, change in aide assigned to case, client, nurse incidents, and complaints.
  • Ability to use time efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Technically savvy – proficient in use of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices
  • Exceptional communication skills – demonstrated ability to communicate and follow-up in a timely manner
  • Partners with recruiters and intake coordinators to ensure immediate and effective care coverage
  • Maintains a daily call log
  • Communicate all relevant information to nurses and homecare clients
  • Follows up with clients, and families regarding schedule changes, service issues, etc.
  • On call after hours required (Weekdays and Weekend)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
