Job Description

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will provide the highest level of service to hiring managers, candidates, and employees. The candidate will recruit qualified applicants for positions throughout the company across all offices. The ideal candidate will be an organized, self-starter and team player with excellent communication and time management skills. The candidate must be able to multitask, prioritize, and complete a high volume of tasks and projects autonomously.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, candidate profiles, and sourcing strategies
  • Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews with candidates to evaluate their skills, qualifications, and fit for the role
  • Effectively utilize job boards, such as Indeed and LinkedIn to post jobs, identify, and communicate with relevant talent
  • Facilitate the pre-employment process, including background checks, drug screenings, and reference checks
  • Manage communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback
  • Developing and executing sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs
  • Develop relationships with technical schools and other educational institutions to identify potential candidates
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the recruitment process
  • Ensuring recruitment methodologies and hiring practices are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures to ensure appropriate and fair selection, assessment, pre-screening, and post-employment methodology
  • Assists HR Director with daily tasks such as processing new hires and documenting policies, as needed.
  • Attend job fairs and industry events to promote the company and recruit potential candidates
  • Assist the Human Resources Department with other HR related tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting
  • Detail oriented and maintains a sense of urgency
  • Maintain values of confidentiality and integrity
  • Ability to take initiative (i.e., “self-starter”) while demonstrating strong teamwork
  • Strong ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: $68,000 – 80,000
