Introducing Pediatric Nursing Services for Children with Complex Medical Needs

Always Compassionate Home Care (ACHC) is pleased to announce the launch of its new pediatric nursing division that goes above and beyond general medical care for children. This newest addition to the company’s professional range of services provides high-quality, specialized pediatric care for the complex medical needs of younger patients—from birth to 23 years of age. Whether the child needs care at home, in a school setting, or both, ACHC’s pediatric clinicians will ensure he or she receives the proper medical care when—and where—it is needed most.

Support every step of the way

We understand how caring for a child with complex medical needs isn’t always easy. That’s why at ACHC, we have developed a specialized nursing program with multiple locations throughout New York that are fully staffed with qualified RNs and LPNs. Here are some of the ways we ensure that not only your child receives the care that’s needed, but you—the parent—will also have the support and comfort factor to put your mind at ease:

  • All our pediatric patients receive an initial assessment, where their needs and requirements are evaluated.
  • Our staff arranges a “Meet and Greet” with our qualified nurses so we can hand-pick the best match for the child and family, based on needs, circumstances, ethnic/cultural background, likes and dislikes.
  • Every child is provided with an ACHC support team—consisting of a coordinator and pediatric clinician—that’s best suited to care for his or her unique circumstances.
  • A nursing schedule is developed, and once care starts, the family will be continually supported by our office and clinical staff, who are available 24/7.
  • Families receive ongoing support through the online patient portal, where physicians and the Always Compassionate clinical team provide frequent medical updates in real time. Families can login at any time to see a current status of their child’s care. Families can also connect with clinical staff 24/7.

Support in and outside the classroom

At ACHC, we understand the importance of a child’s education. Our pediatric nursing services allow your child to attend school and receive the highest-quality medical care on premises through fully coordinated efforts.

How do we do this? Our pediatric clinicians can accompany your child to school and ensure that he or she receives the proper medical care during daily activities. We have contracts with multiple school districts throughout the counties we serve. Ask your child’s school administrators for a list of approved providers in order that he or she will receive the necessary care.

When it comes to caring for your child’s needs, our pediatric clinical staff are trained to provide the following nursing services and will arrange any supplemental services if needed:
